Further development of the software for intensive image evaluation to support test engineers in EMC laboratories
With the earlier highly specialized contract manufacturing of EMC-resistant cameras since 1996, software was provided by the client. As part of the development of its own EMC-resistant camera and audio solutions, AVT also began developing its own modern software solutions. These development tasks are costly to realize due to the high complexity and the high user requirements.
Several software developments are therefore being further developed in the project. The aim is to develop free basic programs and extended, cost-effective “Plus” programs with definable detection properties. The image evaluation of the supplied camera videos according to various criteria, including for high-resolution (4K) videos, poses a particular challenge. The main target systems for which these software programs are to be further developed are the AVT 4K-MiniCam for the visible spectral range and the AVT ThermoCam for the infrared spectral range.
